Command School: How to effectively be in “Command”
Lead Instructor: Walt Lewis (Orlando Fire Dept.)
This class will cover how to command a scene with improved proficiency. It will provide information for commanding officers on what to look for on scenes, how to communicate effectively, how to get the crews to accomplish the tasks needed, and statements to avoid to keep the scene flowing smoothly. Students will be exposed to a variety of learning tools to develop their command presence, confidence and capability involving experienced command officers from all over the nation and all types of fire service systems.
