The Orlando Fire Conference is honored to host the educational program provided by the Illinois Fire Fighter Peer Support Team.
The Illinois Fire Fighter Peer Support Team was created, developed, and established to help firefighters and their families and to help to change the fabric of the fire service and culture. ILFFPS is more than a group of firefighters-it’s a way of life, a lifestyle. ILFFPS encourages its members and those who are provided and engage in ILFFPS’s outreach to listen, understand, and validate the feelings of other firefighters and to allow their brothers and sisters to feel and be. ILFFPS remains committed to providing outreach, support, and education to both active and retired members as well as family and significant others. Firefighters: Continue to take care of yourself and your brothers and sisters and make it safe for all of us to be human beings.
