Command School: How to effectively be in “Command”

Lead Instructor: Walt Lewis (Orlando Fire Dept.)

This 16 hour workshop will cover how to command a scene with confidence. It will provide information for the Chief Officers on what to look for on scenes, how to communicate effectively, how to get the crews to accomplish the tasks needed, and statements to avoid to keep the scene flowing smoothly. Students will run scenarios in a simulation prop and culminate commanding a RIT scenario.
